Shorai battery charger

Dedicated battery charger for Shorai ultra light starter batteries.

Monitors the state and balances the charging of each individual cell of the battery.

Choose Charge Mode or Store Mode by pressing the appropriate button.

Charge Mode charges the battery to 100 %. Charge completion will typically occur within 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the size and state of the battery.

In Store Mode the battery is kept between 60 and 80 % charge state, which is the ideal for long time storage.

Use Charge Mode for approximately one hour after storage, just before first ride. That will insure a full charge and balance.

The charger is connected to the 5-pin charge port of the battery, using a 2-piece cable supplied with the charger.

The longer cable piece can be permanently attached to the battery via its 5-pin connector and tied off at a convenient location on the bike, where it is protected from water and damage. We do not recommend this for MX and enduro bikes used for wet and tough races.

The longer cable piece can be plugged directly into the charger, if it is long enough to reach. If extension is required, the shorter cable in the set can be used for that purpose.

The charger output is max 2 A and it is connected to single phase 100 - 250 V, 50/60 Hz.
